I developed a comprehensive creative system to evolve Planet Fitness’s CRM ecosystem, supporting both their refreshed brand expression and broader member engagement strategy. The work focused on strengthening connections across the member lifecycle, delivering thoughtful, insight-driven creative that resonated with prospective, new, and existing members.
A series of integrated email, in-app messaging, and SMS initiatives were created to support key business priorities, including acquisition, promotional moments, and premium membership upgrades. Each touchpoint was designed to deliver the right message at the right moment, leveraging audience behaviors and lifecycle signals to create more relevant and motivating member experiences.
The CRM program also introduced more intentional lifecycle communications, from onboarding journeys that reinforced early engagement to win-back efforts designed to re-establish relationships with inactive members. Continuous creative optimization and A/B testing helped refine the system over time, resulting in stronger engagement, improved conversion, and a more cohesive and effective member experience.

EMAIL OPTIMIZATIONS
Enhanced the Planet Fitness CRM program by implementing proven best practices to drive member engagement and improve key performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and conversion rates. This included developing highly targeted, personalized email campaigns with dynamic content tailored to various member segments, such as new joiners, inactive members, and premium subscribers. Optimized subject lines and preheader text to boost open rates, while A/B testing creative elements.

PF BLACK CARD UPGRADE
Developed to increase premium membership adoption by reinforcing the value of the Black Card experience. Creative focused on elevating exclusive benefits, including guest privileges and spa access, supported by limited-time incentives to prompt conversion. The approach drove strong engagement, achieving open rates exceeding historical benchmarks and increasing upgrade consideration among existing members.

A promotional CRM initiative designed to elevate member value by showcasing exclusive partner offers across fitness and wellness brands. Creative positioned perks as a meaningful extension of the membership experience, driving engagement, redemption, and incremental partner revenue. The program also reinforced retention and strengthened acquisition messaging by highlighting benefits beyond the gym.

A seasonal lifecycle campaign created to capture peak fitness intent during the New Year period, targeting both prospects and lapsed members. Messaging leveraged motivational positioning and limited-time offers to drive urgency and re-engagement. The effort helped increase acquisition and reactivation while reinforcing Planet Fitness as an accessible, goal-supportive brand.
